This 40 ft container combines two features that are particularly valued in storage operations: the High Cube size with an external height of 2,90 m and double-leaf container doors at both end walls.
Design and equipment
The unit is ISO certified and therefore approved for sea transport. External dimensions 12,19 × 2,44 × 2,90 m, internal volume around 76 m³, door opening 2,34 × 2,59 m at each end.
Use in practice
Over twelve metres of length, the second door is not a comfort feature but a question of working time: without it, every pallet from the rear area has to be driven out over the full length. With loading right through, the distances are halved.
Structure of weather-resistant Corten steel, marine-grade plywood floor, forklift pockets, ISO corner castings at all eight corners. Condition: refurbished, wind- and watertight.
