The 40 ft Flat Rack container serves to take and secure particularly tall cargo – possible because it is completely open at the top and can be craned from above.

Design and equipment

The end walls are of folding design: when empty they can be laid down, so that several Flat Racks can be combined into a compact stack and transported back inexpensively.

Use in practice

Floor area 12,19 × 2,44 m. The base frame is considerably reinforced compared with a standard container, in order to take the concentrated loads of heavy individual items; lashing eyes along the longitudinal members take chains and straps.

Typical load: construction machinery, transformers, steel structures, precast elements, boats, vehicles. Condition: refurbished.
