Specification in detail
Cryogenic ISO tanks are distinguished by the fact that they keep the gas at temperatures of around −162 °C (−260 °F). This is made possible by a double-walled construction: an inner vessel of stainless steel sits inside an outer shell, and the space between is vacuum insulated and additionally provided with super insulation.
Use and application
The tank is built into an ISO frame with corner castings and can therefore be handled, stacked and secured with twistlocks like an ordinary container – the reason why this format has become established for combined transport.
Operation is subject to strict regulations (including ADR/RID and the Pressure Equipment Directive). Approval, inspection intervals and documentation are clarified together with you before purchase. Condition: refurbished.
